Bahrain’s News Agency (BNA) quoted Sheikh Salman as saying during a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki that Manama was looking forward for a good neighborly relations with Tehran.
Bahrain is a peace-loving country and works on strengthening security and stability in the region, as well as developing rapprochement between the Arab Gulf states and their neighbors, he said.
Mottaki later concluded his visit to Manama where he held talks with top Bahraini leaders to explain and clarify statement by an Iranian officials which undermined the sovereignty of Bahrain.
