The Cabinet valued the visit of the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the UN efforts to achieve international security and peace.
In press remarks to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Acting Minister of Culture and Information said the Cabinet welcomed the ceasefire in Somalia between the government and the opposition of Somalia’s Liberation Alliance, hoping this agreement will be a serious step toward overcoming the various difficulties hindering reconciliation and completion of constructive dialogue to reach a permanent political settlement that establishes peace and stability in Somalia.
