In press statements following a meeting with his Yemeni counterpart Major general Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Ulaimi, late on Tuesday, Prince Nayef praised the level of cooperation and coordination between both sides to combat terrorism and various crimes.
He said the security authorities are working diligently by deploying patrols along the borders to prevent any infiltration.
The Saudi minister said the two sides discussed security issues of mutual interest, means to promote security cooperation and exchanged information within the framework of the security agreement signed between both countries in year 2000.
Prince Nayef denied there were any problems between both governments in relation to border issues.
Sometimes, problems of tribal nature occur between Yemeni and Saudi citizens, but they are solved immediately, he added.
