During the meeting, the envoy conveyed to the King greetings of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, and in return, the King sent his greetings to Ban.
The two also reviewed the ongoing preparations at the United Nations headquarters in New York to host "The Dialogue of Followers of Religions" called for by King Abdullah.
The meeting also highlighted the overall situations in the Middle East, especially the Palestinian issue and the stalled peace process.
The meeting was attended by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America Adel Al-Jubeir.
