President Khalifa was talking to US Vice-President Dick Cheney in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, also attended the talks along with other Shaikhs and senior officials. Shaikh Khalifa hailed the strong relations between the UAE and the US. Ways to enhance bilateral relations in addition to the latest developments in the region were discussed.
