UAE Hosts Desert Exhibition

The event is being held under the patronage of General Shaikh
Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and
Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

"Desert has always been part of what we are. We learn from
it the virtues of patience and modesty and how to appreciate
what we have," Sheikh Mohammed said.

He thanked the artists whose works will be displayed during
the exhibition.

The exhibition being organised by Abu Dhabi Culture and Arts
Group in association with Abu Dhabi Culture and Heritage Authority.
It will feature distinctive paintings of a number of noted
artists in the region depicting the modern Arab Gulf Art.
Hoda Kanoo, member of the Board of directors of the Abu Dhabi
Culture and Heritage Authority, thanked Sheikh Mohammed for lending
patronage to the event.

She also expressed appreciation to the public and private
sectors for supporting the show, including Abu Dhabi Culture
and Heritage Authority and Dolphin energy company.
"Such support is one of the important factors in the success
of the cultural events, and on its basis the intellectual generation
surges ahead," she added.
